this weekend was a packed full weekend. an accomplished weekend i might add.
i got some work done around the house,
visited our local farmers market [if you remember from last year... it's amazing]

attended a beautiful wedding,
went to a baseball game,
and sorted through some stuff that my mom has been begging me to do for almost two years.
i stumbled upon some old photo albums and soon found myself sitting on the chilly cement floor of my mom's basement reminiscing through those memories. taking myself back in time and looking at what life was like. flipping through pages beyond my years and into the younger years of my mom and her family. seeing memories and sweet captured moments of my nana as a young mother. and i smiled. and i dreamed. dreamed of making these memories with our future children, and grandchildren. envisioning that one day we will have photos like these - photos capturing the beautiful life around us for generations to see.
it was such a sweet weekend.

ReplyDeleteWe went to our grower's market on Saturday, too! I also stocked up on maternity dresses/skirts this weekend too as this weather is outta control hot!
